About MeParrot Pants and Soakers are hand knit by myself, Susannah, a Newcastle based mum of two. I started knitting as a youngster about 20 years ago, and discovered wool as a nappy cover soon after I started using modern cloth on my first daughter in 2006. The knitting bug bit hard and she soon had a more hand knits in her wardrobe than she could wear, so I started knitting to sell and the rest as they say is history. My daughter has since toilet trained, but I have continued to hand dye and knit wool for soakers, shorties and longies.
